New brand, a real status page, and a faster landing

New brand, a real status page, and a faster landing, Klipeo changelog

This release is mostly about the surfaces around the editor: how Klipeo looks, how you can check on it, and how fast the first page loads.

What changed

A new mark. Klipeo has a new logo across the app, the browser tab, and the iOS home screen. It is also much lighter. The whole icon set now weighs 76 KB, down from a single 4.5 MB image that every visitor used to download.

A real status page. status.klipeo.com is live, hosted separately from the app so it stays reachable when the app is not. It runs live probes against the website, authentication, and the API, shows 90-day uptime per component, and lists incidents and scheduled maintenance. The same page is served at klipeo.com/status, so each environment reports on its own build.

The landing page loads in one piece. The hero editor on the homepage used to appear in stages: an empty frame, then the editor, then the demo clip. Now the demo clip starts downloading as soon as the page does, once instead of six times, and everything reveals together. The first-run editor tour also stays off the homepage now.

Under the hood. Terms and Privacy moved onto the site's own header and footer, paid features are enforced on the server instead of only hidden in the UI, and klipeo.com is wired for search with analytics, a complete sitemap, and search-engine verification.

How you'll experience it

There is nothing to do. Refresh and it is there. Bookmark status.klipeo.com for the one address that answers whether the problem is you or us, and the homepage no longer flashes an empty editor frame on first visit.

What's next

The editor itself is the next release: a redesigned export flow with one-click publishing, subtitles on the timeline, and a credits system that shows what every AI action costs. It is in testing now and will be the next entry here.
