Smart Cut used to be a per-selection word list. It is now one analysis over the whole timeline, or one clip if you pick it.
How it works
It transcribes every speech clip once, then runs the passes you tick:
- Silence and pauses, fillers, and stumbles, computed locally and free.
- Three AI passes: retakes of the same sentence (keeping the cleanest take), tangents and restarts, and dead air. These use credits, and you can give them a short brief about the video first.
Every proposed cut is listed with its range, the reason, and the words it covers. The ranges draw over the timeline while you review. Keep or cut each row, a whole pass at once, or tap individual words in the transcript.
Apply
Apply removes everything as one edit and one undo, directly, without a Vibe round trip. A video and its linked audio no longer show up twice, and clips that cannot be analysed say why.
