Mini apps you can see working

  • performance

Every mini app now shows itself at work before you open it, loads faster, and follows the same three steps: start, adjust, export. Your file appears the moment you pick it.

Every tile plays its tool

All 82 tiles on the Mini apps page now act out their job. Trim cuts a clip, Rotate video turns the picture, Auto captions writes its lines, Upscale image sharpens as the divider slides. Tools sit under their category (Edit, Audio, Optimize, Enhance) with more room around each one, and the pictures are a fraction of their old size, so the page fills in quickly.

A first screen that explains the tool

Open any tool and you see what it does in a sentence, the tool working on a sample, and one large place to drop a file. You can drop it anywhere on the screen. How it works lists the three steps, and related tools sit below. AI tools show what a run costs before you start.

A workspace like the editor

Once a file is in, the tool opens as a workspace: your file in the preview, its settings in a panel on the right, and the action pinned at the bottom of the panel. On a phone, Settings and export opens the same panel as a sheet.

Trim, Crop & Resize, Convert, Compress, Extract Audio, and Remove Noise play your file straight from your device while it uploads, so there is no blank screen while you wait. Export unlocks when the upload finishes.

Tools that take several files keep them in a tray under the preview, numbered in order. Select one to preview it, move it earlier, or remove it, and use Add file for more. Transcripts and captions open in a review editor that fills the preview, with a bin on each line to omit it.

AI image tools check your image first

AI image tools now show your image's size in the settings panel and tell you before you spend credits when an image is over the 4 megapixel limit. Extend an image shows your picture inside the frame it will grow to, with the new area hatched around it and the finished size underneath. Added to each edge never goes past what fits.

When a run fails because of the file, the message now says what to change instead of a general error. Number fields also keep their ruler along the bottom edge, so it no longer runs through the label.
