Stock, Sounds & Effects
The Assets, Sounds, and Effects tabs — stock footage, sound effects, filters, and adjustment layers.
Three tabs on the assets rail exist to hand you things you don't have yet.
Assets (stock)
The Assets tab searches stock photos, video, and audio (Pexels for the picture, Freesound for the sound). Type a query, or narrow with the two dropdowns: a Type filter for all media, photos, videos, or music and audio, and a Category filter with twenty options from Backgrounds and Nature to Business and Travel. Scroll and more results load on their own.
Preview a result, then either Add at playhead or drag it onto a track. Once you use one, Klipeo saves it into your project's media so it survives a reload.
The sparkle button in the header flips the panel over to Generated with AI — everything you've generated across your account, with a Kind filter to narrow it down. These tiles drop at the playhead the same way.
Sounds
The Sounds tab is a sound-effects library split into nine categories: UI, Impact, Transition, Alert, Ambient, Cinematic, Foley, Nature, and Music, each showing how many clips it has. Play a result inline and scrub it before you commit. Add at playhead puts it on an audio track, reusing one if there's room and making a new one if not.
Effects
The Effects tab is a hub with three sections:
Effects
The nine visual effects plus a row of Looks presets. Select a layer first — with nothing selected there's nothing to apply to. Chroma Key only offers itself on video and image layers.
Filters
One-click looks. A filter replaces the layer's whole effect stack rather than adding to it, so it's the fast way to start over.
Transitions
Twenty transitions you drop onto a cut. See Transitions.
Adjustment layers
An adjustment layer grades everything underneath it instead of one clip. Hit + Add adjustment layer and you get sliders grouped into Light (brightness, contrast), Color, and Detail (blur). Add a mask to it and it becomes a power window — see Clip properties.
