Quickstart
Sign in, make a project, drop in a clip, and run your first edit by hand and with Vibe. About five minutes.
Here's the short version. You'll sign in, start a project, add a clip, make one edit yourself, ask Vibe to make another, and export. Nothing here takes long.
Sign in
Open klipeo.com and sign in with Google. GitHub, Microsoft, and X buttons show up on the sign-in page too when they're configured. There's nothing to set up either way.
Klipeo is rolling out in waves, so access opens up over time. If you're reading this, you're early.
Start a project
From your dashboard, hit New Project. A project is just a container for your work. Inside it you'll create compositions, which are the actual video edits. Your first composition opens straight into the editor.
If you don't have footage handy, hit Try the sample instead. It creates a
"Welcome to Klipeo" project with a seeded composition and a few suggested prompts
(/captions, /trim-dead-air, /punch-in-zooms, /cinematic-grade,
/launch-video) so you have something to poke at.
Add a clip
Drag a video file onto the assets panel on the left, or click to browse. Klipeo takes video, audio, and images up to 512 MB per file.
The moment a video lands, Klipeo starts looking at it in the background. It listens for the speech, finds the silent gaps, and spots where the shots change. You don't have to wait for that to finish before you start editing. It just means that when you later ask Vibe to "cut the dead air," it already knows where the dead air is.
Put it on the timeline
Drag the clip from the assets panel down onto a track. It shows up as a block you can move and trim. Press Space to play, and the preview in the middle updates as the playhead moves.
Make one cut yourself
Move the playhead to a spot you want to cut, then press S to split the clip in two. Grab the edge of a clip and drag inward to trim it. This is ordinary timeline editing, and it works exactly how you'd expect.
Ask Vibe for the rest
Open the Vibe panel and type something like:
Trim the dead air and caption the whole thing.Vibe reads your line along with what it learned about the clip, figures out which Skills to run, and edits the timeline for you. You'll watch the clips tighten up and a caption track appear. By default Vibe runs on Klipeo's cloud, so there's nothing to install.
It's still your edit
Everything Vibe just did is a normal edit. If a cut feels off, drag it back. If you want the captions lower, move them. Then ask Vibe for the next thing.
