Mini Apps

Deterministic utilities

Merge media, repair sound, adjust subtitles, and inspect exports with bounded background jobs.

The Mini apps catalog includes 50 utilities that process media without a learned model. Search for a task, open the tool, upload the required files, adjust its settings, then press Create output. Sign in to process files. Subtitle timing and format accepts text without a media upload.

The utilities have separate entries alongside Trim, Convert, Compress, Remove Noise, and Crop & Resize. Native utility screens are not available yet; use the web catalog on your phone or computer.

Choose and order sources

Drop files on the tool's first screen or choose them from your device. The files sit in a tray under the preview, numbered in processing order. Select a file to preview it, use the arrow to move it earlier, and use the bin to take it out of the job. Add file adds another while the tool has room. Video, audio, and images preview straight from your device before anything uploads.

  • Merge video and Merge audio use the displayed order.
  • Watermark takes video first and a transparent logo second.
  • Soundtrack takes video first and audio second. Choose replace or mix; the soundtrack loops to the video length.
  • Waveform video takes audio first and cover art second.
  • Duck music takes speech first and music second. Supply separate tracks.
  • Photo slideshow takes images in order, followed by optional music.
  • Green-screen composite takes the keyed video first and a background image second.

Files must be no larger than 128 MB each or 256 MB combined. Timed sources are limited to 10 minutes each. Each tool also limits its number of inputs and output size. Reverse and boomerang accept at most 30 seconds at 720p; GIF export accepts at most 15 seconds, 720 pixels wide, and 24 frames per second.

Adjust and review

Numeric chips support dragging and typed values. Hold Shift for coarse changes or Alt for fine changes. Format, direction, audio policy, and other single-choice settings use dropdown menus.

Remove video pauses, Remove letterboxing, and Scene split have an Analyze first action. Analysis fills the kept intervals, crop rectangle, or cut points. Review those values against the source before pressing Create output. Silence can include quiet speech, dark scenes can look like borders, and flashes can resemble shot boundaries. You can edit or supply your own intervals and cut points.

Kept intervals use one start, end pair per line, in seconds. Cut points are increasing seconds separated by commas. Crop and blur rectangles use fractions from zero to one. Region blur is fixed; it does not track moving subjects.

Subtitles and LUTs

Import subtitle text or paste it into Subtitles. Burn subtitles accepts SRT or ASS and makes captions part of the picture. Switchable subtitles adds an MP4 text track; ASS styling is lost. Subtitle timing and format shifts SRT, VTT, or ASS cues and exports SRT or VTT. A negative offset cannot move a cue before zero. None of these tools transcribes speech.

Apply a LUT accepts a normalized SDR .cube file with 2 to 33 points per dimension. Color adjustment and LUT processing reject HDR sources. Convert known BT.2020 PQ or HLG material with HDR to SDR first.

Inspect the result

The original files remain unchanged. Video, image, and audio results have a preview when supported by your browser. Press Download result to keep the output. Download MKV files for playback in a compatible player.

Split video, Scene split, and Batch image resize return ZIP archives. Normalize loudness returns a ZIP containing the audio and a JSON report of measured input and output loudness. Media inspector and Loudness report return JSON files. The inspector excludes arbitrary private tags; metadata cleanup cannot remove identifying pixels or speech.

Size-budget compression uses two passes and checks the final byte size. It reports failure when the budget cannot be met. Remux copies compatible streams and rejects an incompatible container instead of silently re-encoding. Change speed preserves audio pitch; Change pitch preserves duration. Freeze frame pauses the sound too, inserting silence during the still frame.

Recovery and worker requirements

Jobs continue in the background. Refresh the same tab to resume a pending receipt. Use Cancel job to stop a queued or running operation. If a request fails, fix the settings or source indicated beside the action and retry.

If checking a job's status fails, press Retry status check to reconnect to the same job. If your browser cannot save a recovery receipt, processing still works while the tab stays open, but refreshing cannot recover that job automatically.

Subtitle burn-in, stabilization, HDR conversion, and pitch shifting require specific FFmpeg filters on the worker. A missing filter is reported by name. Ask the deployment operator to install that filter before retrying. Native mobile screens for these additional utilities are not yet included.
