Getting Started

The Editor

A quick tour of the four panels, the preview, and where Vibe sits.

The editor is four resizable panels around a live preview. Drag the dividers to give whichever panel you're working in more room.

The assets panel

On the left. This is where your media and your tools live. A vertical icon rail runs down its edge with six tabs:

Media

Everything you've uploaded, with thumbnails. Drag from here onto a track.

Sounds

A sound-effects library you can preview and drop at the playhead.

Text

Title, caption, and lower-third presets you drag onto the timeline.

Assets

Stock photos, videos, and audio, plus a sparkle toggle for the things you've generated with AI.

Subtitles

Generate captions from the audio, edit the cues, and style them.

Effects

Effects, filters, and transitions in one hub.

Media is where you'll start. To add a file, drag it in or click to browse. The limit is 512 MB per file.

A few other views (Templates, Settings, Translation, Adjustment, Markers) share the same panel but aren't on the rail — the editor opens them for you when you use the feature that needs them.

The preview

In the middle. This is a live picture of your composition as it stands right now, not a render. Any change you or Vibe makes shows up here immediately.

You get the usual playback controls: play and pause with Space, step a frame at a time, jump to the start or end, and go fullscreen. You can set the zoom (Fit, 50%, all the way to 200%) and pick a frame rate (24, 25, 30, 50, or 60 fps). If you need to line things up, turn on guides like the rule of thirds, center lines, the golden ratio, or a safe area.

The properties panel

On the right, and it stays out of the way until you select something. Click a clip and it opens with tabs that fit that clip. A video clip gives you Transform, Animate, Crop, Color, Audio, Speed, Blending, Effects, and Masks. An image clip drops Audio and Speed; an audio clip has just Audio and Speed; a text clip gives you the text controls instead. Deselect and the panel tucks itself away again. There's a full breakdown in Clip properties.

The timeline, or Vibe

The bottom panel does double duty. Most of the time it's the timeline, where your clips sit on tracks and you do your hand editing. When you switch to the chat layout, the Vibe panel takes that spot so you can talk to the AI while you watch the preview.

One project, many views

The assets panel, the preview, the properties, the timeline, and Vibe are all looking at the same composition. Change it in one place and the rest catch up at once. That shared state is what lets you and Vibe trade off so freely.
